You don't need perfectly behaved children to create beautiful photographs. Sometimes, the most precious memories come from the unexpected moments.
What should we wear?
To complement the warm, golden tones of The Starry Christmas, I recommend choosing a soft, neutral colour palette.
Beautiful colours to consider:
Cream, ivory, beige, camel, warm brown and soft, muted tones.
Knitted jumpers, cosy cardigans, simple dresses and classic outfits all work beautifully. You can add a subtle festive touch with a velvet bow, a delicate hair accessory or a little tartan detail.
For footwear, bare feet, neutral socks or simple shoes in cream, beige or brown will complement the setting. If you choose shoes, please make sure they are clean, as we'll be photographing on a light-coloured floor. For little ones who aren't yet walking, bare feet or neutral socks are perfect.
I recommend coordinating your outfits rather than dressing everyone identically. Avoid large logos, neon colours and very busy patterns, which can distract from the photographs.
The most important thing? Choose something comfortable that makes you feel confident. Your photographs should feel like your family, only with a little extra Christmas magic.
